Rooted in Tradition
At Lotspeich Family Farm, we’re proud to be a fifth-generation family farm located in the heart of Northeastern Nevada. Every day, our work is guided by three simple but powerful values:
Community – We’re deeply connected to the land and the people around us. Whether you’re a customer, a fellow grower, or part of our farm team, you're part of our extended family.
Quality – We believe food and flowers should nourish both body and soul. That’s why we grow for flavor, nutrition, and beauty—harvesting each crop with care.
Love – Farming is more than a job; it’s a way of life. From tending the soil to planning our seasonal events, everything we do is rooted in love for our land and our community.
We grow a wide variety of vegetables and flowers adapted to the unique climate of our region, and we partner with other passionate producers to make sure our customers always have access to the best. Whether you’re visiting us at a local farmers market or bringing the whole family out for fall festivities on the farm—we’re glad you're here.
Growing with purpose
We’re lucky to be nestled between the beautiful Ruby mountains here in the high desert region of Northern Nevada. When you think of Nevada you probably think of deserts and highways, not the optimal climate for growing produce. Luckily, we’ve been growing farm fresh produce in this region for generations and we’ve learned a thing or two about how to get the most out of the land.

Winter
Winter is the time when we prepare for the next growing season. We’re busy checking soil, getting beds ready and starting to seed for the new year. We will almost always be planning new to try new varieties and crops too.
Spring
You can expect to see the first of the season’s flowers and fresh new veg popping up; the Asparagus, Beets, Spinach and Lettuce are all ready for harvest. Microgreens, grown indoors, are available starting here and continuing all year.
Summer
Perfectly fresh vegetables are bound for your table - try the Tomatoes, Peppers, Zucchini, Cucumber, Cauliflower and Cantaloupe this time of year. Summer is bursting with flowers too.
Fall
Pumpkin, Squash and Kohlrabi love these cooler temperatures - be sure to grab some for your favorite Fall recipes. Then it’s time to bulk order tomatoes, pickling cucumbers, and more to begin canning with.
